Luke 18:15-30

Part 54 in the Book of Luke sermon series.
This week, we see how all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, are important and loved by our awesome God. We don't have to have wealth or renown in order to win God's favor; in fact, Jesus emphasized to His followers that those having wealth have a harder time entering God's kingdom. This week's message explains the reason for this.

Luke 18:1-14

Part 53 in the Book of Luke sermon series. The focus of this week's message is on two parables that Jesus told His followers and others who came to hear Him. The first parable is about a widow who repeatedly came before an unjust judge. He finally helped her because of her persistence; how much more will a loving, godly Father hear and help His children?
The second parable was told to the same listeners, and emphasizes how we should approach God in prayer -- humbly, recognizing that He saved us by grace out of our sinful pasts. All have sinned and none of us are any more righteous than others who have been saved by grace alone.
