Luke 22:47-53 - Betrayal, Arrest, Desertion

Just as Jesus was speaking, His betrayer came up to Him and kissed Him, which was a sign to those with him that this was the man they were sent to arrest. Luke 22:39-46

Part 71 in the Book of Luke sermon series. In this passage, Jesus has just finished the Supper with His disciples in the Upper Room, and He is going to the Mount of Olives to pray. His disciples followed Jesus, and He told them to "pray that you will not fall into temptation." After Jesus prayed, He came back to where He left the disciples and they were asleep. He wakes them and again warns them to pray lest they fall into temptation.
