No Lost Is Too Lost - Luke 23:32-43

EASTER MESSAGE
Do you have friends and family who you've tried over and over again to show the truth of Jesus Christ, and who have rejected the message and possibly ridiculed you for your beliefs? Are there those people you think have gone beyond the power of being redeemed by Jesus? Or maybe you have given up on yourself - thinking you've sinned too much to be forgiven by the Lord?
Then, this message should encourage you and cause you to see that in the eyes of our Savior, no one is beyond the reach of His love.

Luke 20:41 - 21:4

Part 62 in the Book of Luke sermon series.
In the preceeding passage, Jesus had been questioned by some teachers of the Law of the Pharisee sect. He answered in such a manner that they dared not ask Him any more questions. Now, Jesus has a question for them. He also berates them for their arrogant behavior and unkind treatment of widows.
Then, Jesus does something that shows the Father's heart. He notices the sacrificial giving of someone who would have gone unnoticed by anyone else.

Luke 20:1-19

Part 60 in the Book of Luke sermon series.
Chapter 19 of Luke's gospel record ended with Jesus driving out those who were selling at the temple because in His words, "It is written, 'My house will be a house of prayer'; but you have made it a den of robbers." (Luke 19:46).

From the temple courts, Jesus taught the people about God's character, His holiness and His commands, and He preached the good news about the need for repentance and what He, Jesus came to offer those who would truly surrender their lives to Him.

Jesus was questioned by the religious leaders about His authority, and then He went on to tell a parable to the people concerning a vineyard owner and His tenants. He ended with a quote from Psalm 118 - "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone (cornerstone)."

This message should cause us to examine ourselves to see whether we are truly seeking God with all our hearts and bearing fruit for His kingdom, or whether we are just practicing religiosity, being complacent with our lives.
