Acts 22:30 - 23:11

Paul is before the Sanhedrin. What we can learn from this message is that we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we'll know when to speak and when to be quiet. Sometimes we are quick to justify and defend ourselves. We need to be led by the Holy Spirit.
Paul didn't fail in Jerusalem, although Paul may have thought he did.
Jesus came to encourage Paul in the barracks - Paul's jail cell. Jesus told him to take courage.

Acts 22:1 - 30

Paul speaks to the crowds, and although he could have given the Jews a great theological discussion on how Jesus was the Messiah, he just gave his testimony.
For those of us who think we can't witness to others, we can tell them where we were before Jesus, what He did to change our lives, and where we are now. We once were blind, but now we see.

Acts 21:27 - 22:2

Paul is arrested while in Jerusalem - no one knows why - He's following the orders of the elders - but that just isn't enough - the crowd beats him, wanting him dead. The Roman guards take over and come to Paul's rescue. Paul, following Jesus, turns to the crowd and instead of wanting revenge, desires to continue to let the Gospel be heard.
Paul is a human life showing us how to achieve the bar set by Jesus Christ.
