Romans 9:30 - 10:13

The Jews thought the Gentiles needed to go up to their level, but the Jews needed to come down to the Gentiles' level. The Stumbling Stone can not be removed or sized down. Zealousness for God without knowledge / Truth is not a good thing.

Romans 9:19 - 29

"Who are you, O man, to talk back to God?"

Romans 9:6 - 18

God's sovereignty to show mercy to whom He chooses. Paul reaches out to the Jewish community to explain to them that they aren't anything special as compared to the Gentiles. We all are on common ground when it comes to the cross.

This man, whom the Scriptures tell us was God-fearing and did what was right in the Lord's sight, was sent an angel by God to tell him to send for Peter. This passage is so important to us non-Jews, ie Gentiles, because we see the Lord opening His arms to ALL nations.
